Dry Distillers

Dry Distillers Grains (DDG) is simply Wet Distillers Grains (WDG) that has been dehydrated. The low moisture content of DDG allows for an extended shelf life. Both DDG, and WDG contain approximately 30% crude protein, 34% neutral detergent fiber, and 13% fat on a dry matter basis. DDG and WDG are an excellent source of “bypass” protein with 50% of the protein being rumen undegradable.
